Our workshop partner is TEAMwork, of Delaware County, Indiana.
TEAMwork for Quality Living– to mold a vision and forge a plan to build that healthier community. Their vision: Respect. Respect for themselves as individuals and respect for others that would result in respect for the community. That respect could then make Delaware County the community of choice in Indiana.
This group, representing many different interests and populations in the community, also knew it would take them and many others to “bend the trend” and help Delaware County evolve from a good community to the best community. It was time for the community to come together to take responsibility for its future, to identify needs and problems, to build on what was already being done and to develop a plan to address those unmet needs and problems.

Thank you Concannon's Pastry Shop.
Concannon's graciously provided dessert for visitors at our BIG READ Immersive Learning Workshop.
Concannon's is a widely recognized and well-established business in Muncie Indiana. If you are traveling out of town to visit someone who used to live here plan on taking Concannon's donuts. Their donuts and confections are iconic.
Concannon’s Pastry Shop was established in 1959 by J. Michael and Wanda Concannon on Charles Street in Muncie, IN. In 1978 they moved to 620 North Walnut Street in Muncie, IN. They have remodeled and increased the square footage there at least 4 times.
In 1998 Michael T. and Mary Ann Concannon bought Concannon’s Pastry Shop. Their 3 children have all worked for us at some point, our oldest son, Marc, is a baker and in charge of all candy, popcorn and coffee production. They truly are a family business, which is a dying breed. They started diversifying the bakery by including gourmet popcorn, our own fresh roasted coffee and our very own fine chocolates. They found that these items were a very good fit to go with our bakery.
We would personally like to thank Concannon's for their donation. Their support attests to their family values and commitment to the Muncie community.
